2018... Time to come back!
I've been gone from this world for a few years now and I miss it terribly. I use to write stories, had huge projects in the works with a publisher, had been printed in magazines but then my family had an accident and its almost as if all the magic just slipped from my fingers and it was hard to be creative.
Despite the horrible accident, we are all ok and this was now years ago, I started realizing that the reason I was feeling so lost was because I stopped creating, stopped writing, stopped taking photos.
The last few days, I've been creating some pieces and I feel like I've found myself again. So please, come by, say hi, watch, favorite,
Wonderland Week!
I've been doing themed weeks for myself to keep me better at task. My mind tends to be all over the place most of the time and because I spend so much time looking through stock photos or editing photos, my art usually gets placed on the back burner. Because of that, recently, I started doing themes. By structuring myself in this way, I use one day to pick any stock photos I want to use as well as the concept and story behind it. My art always has a story going on while Im creating it, its like a movie just playing in my mind.

Look, I love sharing here on DA, I truly do, but what bothers me is when people download my stock over and over and I never see a or a comment. Perhaps I have different manners, I mean if I'm going to download your stock, I almost always in a special folder so I know where to go to credit it when I do create something. I love seeing what people create with my images and I love showing my models whats created. One of my images was downloaded 375 times.... no comment and barely any . I won't stop sharing cause I enjoy it, but I wish people would be more courteous. Anyways I guess thats the end of my rant.

Mermaid Week!
So I haven't really been on top of my merfolk art and this past week decided that I would only create mermaid art. I was really happy with the results. I went out of my comfort box and created some darker pieces.
Catch of the Day- I imagine that if there are mermaids out there, humans wouldn't be too kind. I mean in our twisted world everything has a price. Im not a meat eater or fish eater mainly because I think its awful but I try not to judge those who do. With this piece I kind of wanted to express that meaning. Most people don't really think about where their dead food comes from. What if your food looked more like us, would it matter
